About C0deEX

Our story

C0deEX was founded in Acton by Sanjib Biswas and Susri Anuradha as a computer science academy. They started C0deEX with one goal: to meet every student where they are. Students who are struggling get the help they need to catch up, and students who are excelling get the challenge that takes them to the next level, all the way to competition.

As our students grew, so did what they needed from us. We added experiment-based science, a competitive chemistry team that has since won three Massachusetts titles and finished 2nd in the nation, the MIT Zero Robotics program, and partnerships with 23 schools across ten towns.

A note on the name: C0deEX is spelled with a zero and two e's (Code + EX). If you searched for CodeEx or Codex in Acton, you've found the right place.

Today C0deEX is a full academic institute: science, English, test preparation and computer science for grades K–12, with one-to-one AP and SAT tutoring. Our name now stands for what we have always aimed for: Education for Excellence.

How we teach

• Placement first. Students start at the level that fits them, confirmed by assessment.
• Small classes. At most 6 students per class.
• Clear goals. Every course has defined learning outcomes.
• Specialist instructors. Subjects are taught by people trained in them.
