Enrolling
How do I enroll my student?
Enrolling takes four steps: book a free consultation or placement assessment; we recommend a program and level; you register and pay through the Parent Portal; your student joins the next class. Book a consultation
Can my student join after the term has started?
Yes. Enrollment is rolling, and instructors help new students catch up.
Is there a free trial class?
Yes. Your student can try one class free before you register. Book a consultation to arrange it
Where are classes held?
At our center, 136 Great Rd, Acton, MA 01720. Free parking is available in the lot on site.
Tuition & billing
How much do classes cost?
Tuition for each class is shown when you register in the Parent Portal. For private tutoring, we discuss pricing during your free consultation.
How is tuition billed?
Tuition is billed monthly through the Parent Portal.
Can we pay for the whole year?
Yes. Contact us to set up annual billing.
Do you offer sibling or multi-course discounts?
Yes, we offer both. Contact us after you register and we'll apply the discount to your account.
Placement
What is a placement assessment?
A free assessment of about 45 minutes that shows which level fits. It is recommended for English, SAT preparation, Python and Advanced Computer Science, and available for any program. Book an assessment
Who can join Advanced Computer Science?
Enrollment is open. The courses assume students can already program on their own, so we recommend a free consultation or placement assessment first.
Classes
How large are classes?
Classes have at most 6 students, so every student gets individual attention.
Do you offer classes online?
All group classes meet in person at our Acton center. Private tutoring can be online or in person in Acton.
Who teaches the classes?
Our instructors are trained in the subjects they teach. Meet our team.
Private tutoring
Which AP subjects do you tutor?
AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics 1 and AP Physics C (Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism). About AP science tutoring.
Do you tutor for the SAT?
Yes, for the Reading and Writing section, with a diagnostic test, an individual score plan and timed practice. We do not offer SAT Math tutoring.
Can you help with other subjects?
Yes. We tutor most K–12 subjects, in person in Acton or online.
How is tutoring priced?
You can choose hourly sessions, a 10-hour package or a 20-hour package. We'll discuss pricing during your initial consultation.
Policies
What if my student misses a class?
We offer a make-up class. We'll contact you with a make-up date.
How do we withdraw, and are refunds available?
See our policies during registration. Current families can also find them in the Parent Portal.
Are photos of students used on the website?
During registration, parents choose whether C0deEX may use photos of their student in our marketing. If you don't give permission, we won't use your student's photos.
